RELIGIOUS
There are three Religious Congregations in the Diocese: Hospitaller Brothers of St. John of God, The Society of the Infant Jesus, and Handmaid of the Holy Child Jesus.
Hospitaller Brothers of St. John of God are in charge of the management of the only Catholic Hospital in the Diocese located at Asafo.  There are five Religious Brothers working there.  They are Br. Yohannes Baptista Torwoe, Br. Francis Osei Atta,  Br. George Castro Yankey, Br. Emmanuel Antonio and Br. Alphonse Faye.

The Society of the Infant Jesus is situated at Wiawso. The sisters there are in charge of managing St. Joseph Primary and Junior High School in Wiawso. They are currently three there. They are Rev. Sr. Felicia Yawson, Rev. Sr. Martha Tsetsewa and Sr. Cecilia Quansah.

The Congregation of the Handmaid of Holy Child Jesus is found in two communities in the Diocese: Asafo Community and Afere Community. Those in Asafo Community currently are Sr. Felicia Zumebome and Sr. Jacinta Kuudamnuru. While Sr Felicia works at St Raphael Educational Complex, Sr. Jacinta works at the St. John of God Hospital.

Those in Afere Community are Sr. Stella Egbu and Sr. Stella Polkura. They are working on beginning a Catholic School in Afere.
